Rob’s 23 years in professional audio spans across Engineering, Mixing, Mastering, Music Production, and Sound Design. He founded Ambient Works in 2016 to help musicians and sound artists realise their work to the highest standard - creatively and technically.

Most recently, he has contributed to albums released on SA Recordings, One Little Independent, and BMG/Modern Recordings, among others. He has also provided input as a beta tester for Unfiltered Audio and UDO Audio.

Before starting Ambient Works, Rob launched his career in music with dual degrees (Music Performance / Recording Arts and Sciences) from the Peabody Institute, Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Following that, he held engineering positions at National Public Radio, Aspen Music Festival, Polk Audio, and worked with a number of independent studios.

Since then, Rob has worked on hundreds of projects including commercial releases, studio and location recordings, theatre productions, and physical installations.
